The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) operates 19 cemeteries and memorial parks and two greenfield sites, and a site under a fee-for-service arrangement, spanning more than 600 hectares across Greater Melbourne. At the core of GMCT’s purpose is the provision of burial, cremation and memorialisation services, a critical service that meets the current and future needs of communities.

HIP V. HYPE has been engaged by GMCT to undertake a climate risk assessment of the organisation and to develop a Climate Resilience Plan to guide its climate response.
