Local governments have a duty of care in carrying out their legislated roles and responsibilities. This includes comprehensively and transparently considering climate risk in planning, decision-making and actions.
HIP V. HYPE was engaged by the City of Monash to undertake a thorough Climate Change Risk Assessment of Council’s assets, operations and service delivery. To facilitate integration with existing structures and systems, the assessment approach was aligned with Council’s Enterprise Risk and Opportunity Management Framework.
