HIP V. HYPE was engaged by Manningham City Council to undertake a Climate Risk Assessment and develop a Climate Resilience Plan to strengthen Council’s ability to respond to the impacts of a changing climate.
The project was designed to build on Council’s existing risk management practices, ensuring findings and recommended actions could be readily integrated into existing governance, planning and operational processes. Two key outputs were developed: a Climate Risk Assessment identifying priority climate risks across Council operations, services and assets; and a Climate Resilience Plan, outlining practical actions to enhance Council’s adaptive capacity over time.
