Tapangka is a future Mixed-Use Precinct located in Adelaide's Central Business District, targetting precinct-scale carbon neutrality (in operation) and delivery of a combination of Green Star Buildings. The precinct will foster a culture of sustainability and education, highlighting the benefits of a considered, climate resilient approach to urban development.
HIP V. HYPE was engaged by Renewal SA as Tapangka's sustainability advisor, working with project architect Woods Bagot and project landscape architect Tract Consultants to establish a strong foundation for the precinct’s ambitions.

Context
The project's ambitions are being realised through the Tapangka Sustainability Strategy, guiding the Precinct's planning, design, construction and operation, and importantly set the framework for an optimised land release on behalf of Renewal SA.
HIP V. HYPE's involvement has led to the creation of bold yet commercially-grounded aspirations for the Precinct that will help to establish Tapangka as a sustainability precedent in South Australia.
