Working closely with client MONNO and project architect Jackson Clements Burrows Architects (JCBA), HIP V. HYPE was engaged to reach the sustainable, carbon neutral aspirations of mixed-use development, 69-71 Moorabool Street, Geelong.

The project's 100% renewable energy supply is set to be delivered by a combination of on-site solar PV electricity, and GreenPower administrated via an embedded network; making the development fossil-fuel free in operation.

Sustainability

Targeting net zero in operation, the delivery of highly efficient dwellings was key, coupled with an 100% renewable energy supply. Modelling undertaken by HIP V. HYPE informed glazing placement to reduce unwanted heat gain and loss, reducing the need for active heating or cooling.
